Hussaini suspension bridge is considering the most thrilling and longest bridge in Gilgit Baltistan Northern Areas of Pakistan it is short walk for Hussaini village .some 10 minutes’ walk. Hussaini suspension bridge makes a nice crossing of the Upeer Hunza river allowing completion of a loop hike which includes Passu Suspension Bridge near Passu village. This trek is a loop starting from Gulmit Continental Hotel driving the Karakoram highway to Hussaini village and taking a trail to Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Hussaini suspension bridge is consider “easy” compared to Passu suspension bridge. Passu suspension bridge is probably 4 to 5 times as long and the planks used and spacing make it exciting. After crossing both of the suspension bridges across the upper hunza river then climb and go through the village. Other than crossing the suspension bridges rest of the trek is easier.

Hussaini Hanging Bridge is a relatively new addition to the attractions of Upper Hunza Valley. The local community has constructed it after a flood washed away their old bridge. Hussaini suspension bridge is long and it hangs high above the extremely wide and raging Upper Hunza river it becomes really scary when it sways in the wind or when locals are crossing/running on it. The Planks are equally placed so once you get hang of it is not very difficult to cross but since the bridge is a bit wide so you can’t hold the rope from both sides.
