Gulmit Continental Hotel can be reached by air. Special ATR flights operate from Islamabad to Gilgit daily which takes roughly 55 minutes. This kind of flight literally the most elegant flights flying over the Kaghan Valley and the Himalayan range Nanga Parbat 8126 meters is also termed as the killer mountain. Meanwhile the aircraft start descending on the left hand side you will spot the Karakoram Range the Karakoram 2 shortly known as K-2 is the second highest mountain peak  world over. There are a large number of collection of peaks lying on and around the longest glacier ranging over some 8000 meters in the Gilgit Baltistan area.

Approach by Road:
If you feel like driving by car coaster or by van on the M-2 motorway in order to go to Peshawar and get off at Hassanabdal and then lead the road for Abbottabad city leaving Mansehra, Balakot and Kaghan behind. It is such an amazing drive along the river Kaghan to the naran town. You are travelling on the newly constructed highway with gushing streams, lush green pastures and breathtaking lulusar lake being on your left hand side and babusar pass with a height of 14000 feet and make your way down the valley getting into Gilgit Baltistan coming across the Karakoram Highway on the right turn you to  Karakorum Highway driving towards the raikot bridge for just a pause and than a while later drive ahead for Gulmit Continental Hotel in the Upper Hunza Valley. The travel is really safe all the way but please do not travel at night.
